Customer check: notes from the register before the first invoice
New customer, new risk? The check reads what the register says about a company: status, age, annual accounts, changes, insolvency edicts. From that comes a traffic light with a suggested payment term: in advance, 14 days or 30 days. Every point with its source, so you judge for yourself.

A suggestion from register data, not a credit rating, not an assessment and no guarantee. You decide on payment term and business yourself. No credit-agency data, no advice.
What the check can and cannot do
It can: read register data anyone could find in the register, just faster and at a glance. Every line names its source: the company's master data, the list of annual accounts, the extract with entries and functions, or the edict file.
It cannot: see payment behaviour, open receivables or bank balances. Share capital is not part of the register's short information, and we do not read the insolvency file itself; edicts on sales and leases in insolvency proceedings count. Amounts from annual accounts stay in the financial report, persons stay out: functions are counted, not named.
Frequently asked questions
Is this a credit rating?
No. The check shows what the register says about a company, each point with its source, and suggests a payment term from that. No credit-agency data, no score, no guarantee.
What does the check look at?
Status (active, deleted, in liquidation), age since the first entry, legal form, whether the annual accounts were filed in time (section 277 UGB), the size class and whether it fell, changes of name, address, legal form and functions in the last 24 months, and edicts on sales or leases in insolvency proceedings.
What does it cost?
One check is free with every account, the same free query as the financial report. Every further company comes with Pro or Business.
Can I check a sole trader?
No. A sole trader's company name is a person's name, so the check stays with companies.
Can my software do the check?
Yes: GET /api/kundencheck/{fnr} returns the same signals as JSON, also with the free key.
